How did WNYC do with their recent fund raising? They constantly thank contributors and then tell us it's still not too late to give.
I used to listen to WNYC a lot, but now only selectively. For me, they are no longer informative or interesting. It's too bad how far they have deteriorated.
WNYC's host, Sean Carlson, is the least of their problems, but every time I hear him I want to throw the radio out the window. He says such stupid things and dominates the evening broadcast. (I think they told him to sound more friendly and chatty, which makes him unbearable.) When I can I listen to ATC through WBUR. That way I avoid him and don't have to listen to a twenty minute interview about a street corner in Brooklyn or something of similar irrelevance to me.
