Andrew Golis Has "Decided to Leave" New York Public Radio
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
Well, whaddaya know — Chief Content Officer Andrew Golis is leaving New York Public Radio. Staffers learned the news via an internal memo from CEO LaFontaine Oliver this morning, which was followed by another from Golis. A reason for the departure is not stated in either letter and no plans to discuss the news have been announced by leadership. Both letters are included in full below.
And here’s another bit of news: according to NYPR’s just-released tax forms, Golis did indeed make over a half million dollars in salary and bonuses in 2021. (I’ll have more to say about all this soon!)
